Centennial agri-tech company changes name, moves into new building – Denver Business Journal

A Canadian company that built a new U.S. headquarters in Centennial said it’s changing its name and moving into the new building.

Inocucor Corporation of Montreal said its new name is Concentric Ag Corporation.

This week, the company moved into its 30,000-square-foot headquarters and commercialization office at 7304 South Joliet St. in Centennial, where it "produces high-performance specialty biological products that naturally improve crop yields and replenish soils."

Concentric also said it’s hiring: "The company employs about 65 people in the U.S. and Canada today, and anticipates adding another 25 to 30 high-level scientific and managerial professionals over the next year," officials said in a statement.

"There are currently 20 people in Denver, and that number will eventually grow to 58," a spokesperson said.

Last month, Concentric completed a Series B fundraising round of $15.9 million and the company said it’s now raised $54.4 million.

Last July, the company said it was assisted in the Colorado deal by a Job Growth Incentive Tax Credit of $1,322,918 from Colorado’s Economic Development Commission.
